Lag time when writing posts on WordPress 3.2.1

    Ever since the upgrade to 3.2.1, the lag when typing into the edit field has been awful. I’ve turned off all of the plugins, and I’ve tried working on Explorer. But the lag remains. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or do we need to wait for an update? Please advise.
