We are a 501(c)(3) - http://www.yavaonline.org - that is immediately looking for a webmaster, or someone who can at least help us transition our website to a new host. We have a site built on wordpress and are very happy with the technology. Once that is done, we have a growing list of functionalities we are looking to implement, and need your help.

This project will give you the much needed boost to your resume. While we don't have any funds to pay for services now, you will be able to claim a tax deduction, attend all our social and volunteering events for free and we can work on a longer term payment plan since we are going through some fund raising activities.

As far as what this would entail:
    In the short-term:
*We need to transition our site away from our evil webmaster to another hosting service

    In the medium-term:
*There is functionality that we are missing (ex. automatic reminders, a month-calendar view, auto-population of registration information from user profiles, a blog, etc) that are crucial to our operations. We have no idea which plugins would offer such functionality.

    In the long-term:
*We are building partnerships with many influential web-organizations. We have ideas on partnering with facebook.com, yelp.com, etc. You could help us revolutionize volunteer recruitment as we know it.
*We want to hear your ideas too!!

In summary, we work with and are the 20-34 age group, and we give back and having a good time while doing it. For you our organization, YAVA is just a great way to meet new people and make new friends while giving back to the community.

Contact us asap if you are interested. We look forward to hearing from you, even if you are only available for one-off projects.
