   After upgrading to 2.7-beta2 I noticed that my visual editor disappeared. The tab was there but the tiny-mce buttons were replaced with the html buttons. If I tried typing in the dialog box, the text was white (can only see it if highlighted). The problem was fixed by disabling the kimili flash embed plugin.

   Anyone else have this problem?

   Yes, same problem here with 2.7 beta 3.

   I just confirmed this. I deactivated kimili flash plugin, and my visual editor was back instantly. This certainly answers this thread:

   Same problem here, and I don't even have that plug-in installed. So must be something else causing this same problem.

   Anyone who is having a problem with WP2.7 and Kimili Flash Embed should have a look over here.

   So....is there an alternative to Kimili that does work properly with WP2.7?

   Hi there - LISTEN, try Deactivating EACH of your plugins and see which is causing Visual Editor to crash. I just deactivated my Contact Form plugin and Visual Editor is BACK in a flash!! Good Luck!
