Killing the title tool tips function (2 posts)

    Hey guys,

I'm a newb. In fact - in the coding world I simply don't exist.

With that said though I have made it this far and am tying to suppress the nasty default browser tool tip tag that occurs on images.

I'm using a theme that uses the new Post Thumbnail feature. The feature requires the user (with a menacing red star) to input an image title which in turn calls up the nasty title tool tip.

I've traced the issue down to I believe post-thumbnail-template.php but again, given my complete lack of knowledge other than feeling my way around I really have no way to be sure.

Any help on suppressing the tags for thumbnail image posts would be wonderful!

    Thanks!

    Sev

I actually read a tutorial about something similar to this... Let me fetch that link.

    Here it is: http://net.tutsplus.com/articles/news/a-crash-course-in-wordpress-plugin-development/

The guy demonstrated a plugin to wrap images in a special css and replace h2 tags with h3 tags. A similar approach could be used to remove this title="" attribute from images possibly.
