Keep search engines out of my private members area

OK, I’ve setup Members plugin and Peter’s Login Redirect, and everything is working well.

Now my question is: How do I keep the search engines out of this private area? I don’t want the pages or any of the document links on the pages in the private members area to be indexed by the search engines.

I can’t use an .htaccess file, since there aren’t any “real” pages, but I need to ensure that the private documents that are linked to on the members-only page remain private.
