   Had several hair tearing moments today - writing a long post and clicked "Safe Draft" only to be given the log-in screen. I had already clicked "Remember me" but it didn't remember me... and I keep having to do it every half an hour or so.

   This wouldn't be too bad, but after logging in I am presented with a list of posts instead of returning to where I was and the update is NOT SAVED. Normally going back in firefox gives me the text where I left it, but in this case it just goes to the previously saved state and everything I wrote in the last 20 minutes is lost.

   I'm on Firefox 3.5.5 if that makes a difference - cookies are definitely enabled. If I can't solve this I'll have to abandon the WP interface altogether and paste the text in when I've written it elsewhere.

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
