    This is the message I keep receiving : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /hermes/bosweb/web123/b1233/nf.petalpower/public_html/barbarapedersen.ca/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 3899.
    Not sure how to handle it I have 204 jpg pictures downloaded on my blog could that be too many pics http://www.barbarapedersen.ca I am using phomedia theme.

    I contacted Netfirms who hosts my website they increased the allowable upload from 2 MB to 2GB but that does not seem to help with the fatal error message.
    I also get the message when trying to upload photos to nextgen gallery it says;
    ID 104 a failure occured
    jen-sm_3.jpg ( error: exceed memory limit. Require 32.21 MByte)

    When I try to delete from the media library it gives me this message;
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 19456 bytes) in /hermes/bosweb/web123/b1233/nf.petalpower/public_html/barbarapedersen.ca/wp-admin/includes/deprecated.php on line 493
    Any suggestions are appreciated
    Thanks

    After digging through the forum I found a reply to the same problem 2 years ago from chrisebbeck. This is what I have done and it works now. Thank you Thank you chrisebbeck.

    I created my own php.ini file with the following in it and added to my wp-admin folder.

    <? phpinfo(); ?>
    memory_limit = 128M

    and it is all fixed!
    So simple, I have been trying to work this out all week.
