Keep Formatting in Excerpt & Edit Read More

    I would like my post excerpts to keep their formatting from the full post and to disable the “Read More” button and replace it with the “Read More »” text to be displayed at the end of the excerpt like what is displayed in the Recent Posts sidebar.

    I’m using the “GameFusion” theme and am not running any additional plug-ins yet. Thank you for your time!

    If you ‘re okay with a plugin, Advanced Excerpt can do what you need.

    I’d prefer to do it without an excerpt if possible. But I will keep the plugin in mind!

    Well, I tried the plugin and it screws up the formatting of the Recent Posts in the sidebar, and it doesn’t override the Read More button I’m trying to replace.
