I have searched hi and lo and can not find a way short of downloading a plugin, to simply disable comment links. Is it not possible to simply comment out or disable the line of code that calls for url so there is no need to deal with comment spam ? This should be simple but i have spent hours searching forums and tutorial and can't find an answer.
