i'd been wondering if there was any way to prevent a specific div tag from reloading on my site. the tag in question being the navigation which i wanted to try and avoid having to collapse each time i changed/refreshed the page.
the only alternative i can think of is using framesets which i wanted to try and avoid cause it'll ruin the content URLs.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
If its part of your theme you can edit it however you want.

i dont know how to do this though. not even sure its possible although imagine it should be with javascript/a plugin.
basically i want the panels to behave the same way they would in a site using framesets.
Your running WordPress inside the frame of a standard HTML webpage. So your issue has nothing to do with WordPress. You need to contact whoever wrote the html you are using or Google for javascript.
