JW Player in category display

    I use JW Player to display local videos on my site. I also upload a screenshot as a display thumbnail, because first frame of video is black. Plugin works fine on single post display.
    When I go to category display, I only get the condensed version. From reading the forums, I have modified theloop, and changed the_excerpt to the_content. This gives me the full post, with one big problem – only thumbnail shows – no JW Player.

    Any advise ?

    I’ve got exactly the same problem! Only I didn’t change the code in the loop.php file. I’ve posted this question in multiple forums. So when I get a satisfying answer, I’ll post it here.

    Issue solved! Go to the JW Player settings and uncheck “Show players on category and search pages”. This does exactly the opposite, strangely enough…
    The solution was provided by Longtail Video.
