   Hi!

   I've got an issue with JW Player on my website. On the homepage the JW Player works fine, but when I view the same posts in their category, JW Player doesn't show up!
   I use Twenty Ten as the basis for my theme.

   What could be the problem? And how can I solve this?

   Since you base off of twenty ten:
   

   <?php if ( is_archive() || is_search() ) : // Only display excerpts for archives and search. ?>
   			<div class="entry-summary">
   				<?php the_excerpt(); ?>
   			</div><!-- .entry-summary -->
   	<?php else : ?>

   this tells wp to only display the excerpt for archive posts

   Excerpts are not full posts, use a shortened post, no images, no links, etc.
   So I would assume the player is also excluded by the excerpt

   You can override that loop in your child theme/custom theme to use the_content instead
