Hi my website is http://www.getmefive.com i had a message to update a new version of a theme (directorypress) and since i updated i have errors (geocde etc)every time i press a button whilst in admin, and my menu buttons have been moved etc
is it possible to remove/unistall the updated version to the previous version without losing all the changes i made to previous version and if so can anyone explain how
i am a beginner
thanks for any help
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

how do i remove the latest updated version of theme
so the site goes back to how it was before update
thanks
I'm sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme's vendors.

ok ta ,they are not responding hence post
Sorry but we do not support commercial themes as you paid for support when you bought the theme. It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business.

In all fairness the message to upgrade to latest version of the theme was on my WORDPRESS dashboard.
How was i to know that it would ruin my site and not keep changes i had made to original installed theme.
There was no message from wordpress saying ' don't upgrade as it may ruin your site and delete any alterations to your current theme'
3 MONTHS WORK GONE AND SCORES OF BUSINESSES WANTING THERE MONEY BACK
THANKS WORDPRESS
