   I just upgraded my blog to wordpress 2.5.1

   Now, as soon as I go to write a new post in the Admin section, my CPU shoots up to 50% (I have a dual-core PC, so I reckon it's maxing to 100% on one of the two processors).

   It doesn't seem to act strangely on any other pages, just that one.

   I use Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Windows XP, but IE does the same thing.

   what's going on here?

   Sounds like the same thing reported on Trac ticket 6844.

   Solution there was to delete the WordPress files and then upload the 2.5.1 files.

   Please review Steps 7 and 8 in Upgrading_WordPress_Extended.
