• Hello,

I just imported blogger to wordpress using the blogger plugin and the problem is that all the content went to my home page. I want that content to be on a separate page called Blog and for my home tab (which now has all the blog posts on it) to be the main page for my website where I have info about the products I sell etc. Is it possible to move the home page blog posts into a separate Blog page?

  • You can create a static front page where you can show the products etc.
To show blog posts, create a new blank page titled ‘Blog’, then set ‘Blog’ as the ‘Posts page:’ in Admin->Settings->Reading under ‘Front page displays’.

Thank you, I now have the blog posts showing up under blog but they are still on the home page. I’ve set the Posts page to Blog but when I try to select the Front page the Home page is not in the list of pages. Trying to jump right in here so learning on the fly and reading what I can online.

Okay I tried something since I didn’t see the home page listed in the list of front page options I just chose another page I had called See our Full Collection. I’m gathering the Home page doesn’t show up in the list because it’s separate somehow.

Can you post the URL of your site and write which page you want to be your home page?

Everything is fine but now on the home page I want to get rid of the See our Full Collection and the leave a comment part. When I go to pages Home page is not there and not sure how I edit this. I think I created a custom page in the main menu called Home. I’ve taken comments off of other pages but not sure how to get rid of them on the Home page.
