    Hello all, I hope someone can help.

    I think this plugin will be great after searching endlessly for a wysiwyg plugin. But...

    I can't get it to work. Here is my code for just one aera I wish to edit.

    <?php
    		$second_query = new WP_Query( array( 'cat' => '4' ) );
    			while( $second_query->have_posts() ) : $second_query->the_post(); ?>

    		<h3><?php the_title(); ?></h3>

    		<?php

    		if ( function_exists( 'editable_post_meta' ) )
    		editable_post_meta( get_the_ID(), 'my_key', 'textarea' );
    		else
    		echo get_post_meta( $post->ID, 'my_key', true );
    		?>

    		<?php the_content(); ?>
    		<?php endwhile; wp_reset_postdata(); ?>

    Would anyone know if this is wrong?

    I don't have any other plugins in my site that would effect it and the only java I have is for a NivoSlider but thats it. Im using HTML5 css3 etc etc. Any help?

    EDIT: This is REGARDING wp-front-end-editor.

    It's not polite to write in ALLCAPS.

    Did you read the FAQ?

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/front-end-editor/faq/

    I didn't, just for two words mistakenly.

    It's not really much of an FAQ to be fair. But yes I did read it and went through to the links and read those pages but some direct help would be greatful.

    Thank you in advance

    I've tested your code and it works fine for me.

    Try installing the development version (2.1.2-alpha2).

    Thanks Scribu. Got it working. Just one thing. When I edit a piece of text, I cant see the editing tools (ie. font size, colour etc). Is there some code that I need in place for that.

    Thanks again for checking my code.

    Presuming you didn't disable the WYSIWYG editor from the settings page, the toolbar should appear after you click on the text you're editing.

    I suppose I should make it appear immediately.

    Can't seem to get this working. It seems to have stopped again. Any help? http://www.health-trainers.org/blank/

    Actually sorry. It works if I take off the slideshow. Besides that I still don't get the editing tools up even after clicking and changing the text.

    There's no point in giving me the URL. Non-logged-in users can't see the editor.

    Yeah true. Wasn't thinking. I can message you login details if you wish to have a look? If you did, all help would be appreciated.

    But if not then this is the code im putting in:

    <?php
    		$second_query = new WP_Query( array( 'cat' => '4' ) );
    			while( $second_query->have_posts() ) : $second_query->the_post(); ?>

    		<h2'><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

    		<?php

    		if ( function_exists( 'editable_post_meta' ) )
    		editable_post_meta( get_the_ID(), 'my_key', 'textarea' );
    		else
    		echo get_post_meta( $post->ID, 'my_key', true );
    		?>

    		<?php the_content(); ?>
    		<?php endwhile; wp_reset_postdata(); ?>

    * I have <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer and again in the header as wp_header.
    * Ive got all javascripts switched off.
    * The latest version of front-end installed.
    * And all other plugins deactivated.

    Still no look, maybe if I could see another sites code as an example but don't know who uses it.

    Ok the problems im having with this, if anyone can help is that the editor tools don't come up when I edit a post using front-end editor. But looking at the code. How do I have it?

    I need it to edit a post but unsure how the code should look, of course I have the cat id for each post in there. So when editing a post its referring to the cat id.

    Any help?

    Still doesn't work. Have given up. Asked Scribu and after he couldn't help me he offered for me to pay him to fix it. It's his bl**dy plugin. If I went to Steve Jobs or Bill Gates and said your computer or operating system doesn't work, they wouldn't charge me.

    Anyway doesnt seem to work with any other plugins as far as im concerned. Could have been good but just like this forum, they didnt give me the help I needed to have it work.

    Anyway found something that does work and from both details is a lot better, Just in Beta version at the minute but if you find this post and have tried this without success. Message me and ill point you in the right direction.

    ... also Steve Jobs and Bill Gates don't give out computers for free and they do actually charge for support.

    I think once this plugin will find a way to get along with real higher end themes it will be worth the while.
