• Not realy a WP plugin or a hack… but I came across this in the FF Extentions section….. JustBlogIt.
    According to the website:

What weblog types are supported by JustBlogIt?
Blogger, Drupal, LiveJournal, Movable Type, Radio Userland, TextPattern, TypePad, WordPress, journalspace, b2evolution and BLOG:CMS. Plus you can add any weblog type you want through the Custom… setting

What I’m wondering is if anyone was 1) aware of this tool, and 2)if anyone has tried it, and if so then 3) what they thought of it.
I plan to at least give it a try and will see how it goes, but was wondering what other’s experience with it was.

  • Now that’s neat. I’ll be playing with that, too.
    Thanks 🙂

Good one i am using this extension since firefox 0.9 🙂

    Hey Tg,
I’ve been using that plugin for awhile and it’s deffo one I can’t do without. I’m currently using it with 1.3a4 and haven’t had any problems.

Love this tool. Once I started using it I found I no longer need my cron job for blog by email. As I could make a post right in the browser at the office. Love the FireFox!

I noticed that it simply popsup the Sidebar.php file… which is OK, but I’d rather have the regular post.php file instead (so I can use the “Advanced” editor, but then the fields don’t automatically fill themselves in. Any clues?

not a prob. Go into the options under Extensions and change the URL to post.php.

ah, Tg – i see what you mean. you could change the “edit-form” call at the end of the bookmarklet.php file to “edit-form-advanced”, get all the options, and still have the fields automatically filled in….

Wunderba! Milla danke! I don’t know why I didn’t think about that. I didn’t even look to see what was in the bookmarklet.php file. Ugh! So simple.
Thanks a bunch, it works perfect.
