I seem to be having issues with any theme that uses a slider feature.

I have tried to use the Sliding theme by Woo and another one called Christina, which both use jquery, however for the Christina theme anything that uses jquery just doesnt work at all. I am not getting any error messages. On the Christina theme the images don’t show up at all, and the insert button on the shortcode window doesn’t work, and entering the shortcode directly on the home page doesn’t work either.

On the Sliding theme, as soon as I select the ‘feature item’ option from the products page, the images show up but they are just static and the sliding buttons on the sides disappear so you cannot scroll through.

    Any ideas?

Both themes use two different web hosts. I have tried two versions of WP (including the new one), plus installing by Fantastico and also the standard WP installation. Servers are running current standard versions of mysql and php. Not getting any error messages anywhere. I can live with not getting the Sliding theme to work, however very keen to get the Christina one to work….
