JPG images are not optimized

    I keep getting errors in pagespeed that my images can be reduced by up to 80%. I have emptied the ewwwio table and bulk optimized everything with the “Force re-optimize for Media Library” checked.

    The bulk optimization passes the images in question but the only remark is no savings. Manually downloading the images and optimizing them works and actually reduces the filesize by the amount mentioned in pagespeed. Plugin displays no error and all files show as a green OK.

    As all images in question are custom sizes added by the Theme (Avada) I guess the plugin cannot deal with this.

    The plugin should not have any trouble dealing with resizes, unless the theme totally bypasses the built-in wordpress image functions (which would be pretty silly). It sounds like something else is going on. Can you post your plugin status, and turn on the debugging option on the EWWW settings page, and paste that output as well?
