joining permalinks with content.

    I would like to create an entry format that shows permalinks either immediately before or after the post. I use the date as a permalink, no header:

    June 1st, 2006. Blah blah blah.

    In the example above, “June 1st, 2006” would be the clickable permalink. I’ve already futzed with the php and I’m noticing that entries are bookended by the paragraph (p) tags. This means the best I can do is this:

    June 1st, 2006.

    Blah blah blah.

    Is there any way to buddy up the permalink with the entry?
