Hi, i bought my own domain, and i want to give free blogs to ma friends in subdomains.mydomain.net

Im thinking about installing a fresh wordpress install for each of my friends, but i would like to join all the blogs into one main blog, maybe blogs.mydomain.com because all of us will be speaking on similar subjects, a main blog would be very usefull for visitors, but i also want the ability to visit each blog separately.

How can i join back all the blogs into one?
or, am i going the wrong way to achieve what i want, i haven't done anything yet, so i want to discuss this and avoid going the wrong way.

    What do you think?

I think WordPressMU would be overkill for a family blog site. Check out some of the other solutions noted here:

Ahem, I would also note that if going with multiple installs of WordPress but hoping for a "superblog" solution to display them in aggregate, check out the syndication plugins which offer 'refeed' functionality, like CG-Feedread and FeedWordPress:

Another option is to avoid a blogging tool for the top level site and go with a feed aggregator system such as Planet.
