   For some reason the Next/Prev and image number nav has disappeared. WP 3.1.3 and Thesis 1.8.1. I have several WP/Thesis sites on which this works fine. When I view source code or Inspect Element in Firebug, I can see the code for the navigation elements on the other sites, but not on my own site. http://www.downhillmedia.com

   Meant to add, no other JQuery libraries are loaded. I did also have JJ NextGen JQuery Carousel plugin installed, but deleted it to see if that would correct the problem.

   did you specify it in shortcode?
   might check the css code for z-index coz it determines the layer stack.
