jetpack wont work

I have wordpress up and running :

what it wont do is allow jetpack to fuction. so can jetpack be used if i host on my synology server and if so how?

it says something about the certificate if i try to connect jet pack to wordpress.com but that might just be plain wrong if i am hosting the site myself.

help would be appreciated.
