Jetpack Twitter Widget not showing tweets

I’m developing my custom theme from scratch. Everything was fine until this morning when I was adding new_excerpt_more to functions.php the twitter widget is not showing tweets any more. Its showing one tweet with letter “a”.

Anyone had this happened before? I’m using jetpack with latest wordpress stable version.
