Jetpack Subscriptions - shortcode? (10 posts)

I'd like to be able to put a subscription module on a page instead of just as a widget, so I've been trying to turn it into a shortcode to be able to put it on a few pages, with no success thus far (I'm a php newbie).

Has anyone successfully made a jetpack subscriptions shortcode?

Thanks for the feedback. I've passed this along to the development team for consideration in a future update.

I'd like a shortcode for subscriptions as well. In the meantime, I found this article for putting the subscription form on a post/page.

    Here's another method

  7. Hi! You'll all be pleased to learn that this functionality was added to Jetpack 2.2, released just today! You can use the following shortcode to add it to any post or page:

    [jetpack_subscription_form]

Is there anyway to style the shortcode? It seems to inherit some widget related css style info but changing these would change all widgets?

  9. Hi! You should be able to style the shortcode as you would any other element on your site, by specifically targeting the form in your entry content rather than the sidebar. Your ability to do this will depend on the theme, however, as each theme gives different classes and ids to the elements on a site.
