JetPack subscriptions emailed all my subscribers with an old post last night. I can't work out what triggered it.
Has anyone come across this before?

Could you let me know your site URL, so I can have a look?

Hi Thanks - it's hsf-litigat ionnotes.com (without the space).
I have temporarily disabled subscriptions but can re-enable if you need me to.
Thanks! Could you let me know the title of the post that was sent to your subscribers?
Yes, it was this post:
hsf-litigat ionnotes.com/2012/02/01/implementation-of-jackson-reforms-put-back-to-april-2013/
It's confusing because I can't work out what might have triggered it. I am told no one edited the post recently and there are no comments attached to it.
Thank you. That's weird indeed, because Jetpack currently only sends notifications about new posts; you can edit a post or even change its publishing date, it won't trigger any notification email if that post was already published in the past.
Do you use any other plugins that may affect your posts' status?
I also noticed that you use an old version of Jetpack (2.0.4). Could you try to update to the latest version of the plugin (2.1.2)?
I'll update the plugin and enable it again to see how it goes. I'll let you know if it happens again.
Thanks for your help.
We checked our email logs, and it seems that this post appears twice in our database.
Do you use any plugins that may republish your posts, or copy them?

I can only see 1 version of that post (ID:1524). I don't suppose you know the ID of the other version you have? I'll take a look in phpmyadmin.
Only 1 version in my database (other than a revision I created this morning).
You must log in to post.
