Jetpack problem

Hi! Every time I try to get Jetpack to work on my WP installation I get:

Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates

Appreciate any help 🙂 Frustration is killiing me right now…
