• After having to work with my hosting provider to move my domain in a different place everything works well but the Jetpack plugin can’t be a ctivated because it provokes a fatal error. This is what it says:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare jetpack_is_mobile() (previously declared in /home2/***/public_html/**/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-user-agent.php:3) in /home2/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-user-agent.php on line 59

Any idea on how can i fix this?

I’ve already thried deleting and reinstalling it and even deleting it within the file manager of my hosting account: nothing worked.

    Thanks. 🙂

  • I had this same situation happen to me. I moved my wordpress install from /blog to my main domain and got the error.

Turns out WordPress doesn’t like 2 copies of the jetpack plugin on the same server tree. Deleting the Jetpack folder from the old folder path fixed it. In my case the path to the old jetpack folder was /blog/wp-content/plugins/jetpack.
