• Hi,

    Question from a newbie wordpress dev:

    I installed WordPress 3.9.1 (US and French) on my Mac (Mac Os X 10.9.4) with DesktopServer 3.6.2.
    I installed Jetpack from inside the WordPress admin, then add to the end of the wp-config.php the lines:

    /* Jetpack Development Mode */
    define( 'JETPACK_DEV_DEBUG', true);

    After activating the plugin, the settings page of Jetpack is added to the admin, listing all the modules of Jetpack.
    I activated all the modules that could be activated with a local install (the 15 first ones).

    Here is the problem: i can’t see the added features in the admin.
    For exemple, the “Custom CSS” module is activated, but i don’t see the CSS editor added to the Appearance menu. Same thing with all the other activated Jetpack modules.

    Thanks for your help!
    Vincent

    Hi there!

    Can you take a screenshot of your admin menu (with Appearance expanded) so I can see what might be going on?

    Otherwise, The first thing to check is whether any other plugins on your site may have a conflict. Please check our Known Issues list here:
    http://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/

    You can also try to deactivate all other plugins on your site. Then, try that setting again. If the issue is resolved, activate your plugins one at a time to determine which is causing the conflict.

    If that doesn’t help, please rule out a theme conflict by temporarily changing your site’s theme to a default theme (such as Twenty Fourteen) and trying again.

    Let me know if you have any questions or still have trouble.
