I'm using a child theme of TwentyTwelve and haven't changed comments.php.
Jetpack comments are activated and the Jetpack form is displayed but comments aren't posted.
Do you use any Anti-Spam / Captcha / Security plugins that may conflict with Jetpack Comments?
You can have a look at our list of known issues here:
I use Askimet, Limit Login Attempts, and Stop Spammers Registration Plugin. I'm using nothing in the known issues.
The site is set for only logged in users to comment.
That's the issue. I just unchecked 'Users must be registered and logged in to comment' and now it works. But I really want that checked. ;-)
Jetpack Comments should work, even if only registered users are allowed to comment.
Could you try to switch to Twenty Eleven for a few minutes, and try to leave a comment again?
Switched to TwentyEleven. Comments don't work when only registered user checked and does work when not checked.
Could you try to deactivate any other plugins that may affect your site's commenting and log in system? By default, Twenty Twelve displays a link to allow you to log in to comment, as you can see on this screenshot:
Your posts, however, do not include this link, so I think that one of your plugins must be removing the ability to log in to comment:
Jeremy, I've got a development site at http://drfragen.info. The only plugin active is Jetpack theme is TwentEleven. Still, with only registered user allowed to comment checked, Jetpack comment not working.

I am having trouble with my comments as well. I installed JetPack the other day and now I'm hearing reports that people cannot comment. I tried it myself and got the same error. It says:
We're sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for /wp-comments-post.php?for=jetpack on this server.

Found the solution in this forum thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-jetpack-by-wordpresscom-comments-not-working-1?replies=18#post-3749056
The trouble was a spam-preventing Plugin I have called Bad Behavior.
