Jetpack causes content duplication with excerpts

    I’ve found a unique situation involving Jetpack and Powerpress.

    On posts displayed with auto-generated excerpts and the powerpress player at the top of the post, the line of text links below the player gets duplicated as the first line of the excerpt.

    When I disable Jetpack, that duplicated text goes away.

    This has been tested and happens with auto-generated excerpts in TwentyThirteen, TwentyFourteen, and with Genesis child themes. The duplication does not seem to happen with posts that have manually created excerpts, and this behavior was observed with Jetpack 3.0.1 and 3.1.1
