Jetpack Blog Suscriptions does not send emails to hotmail accounts.

Hi,

I have a wordpress blog with the jetpack blog subscription in the side bar. When people with hotmail.com email try to sign up they never receive the subscription email. I have installed the mandrill plug in but it does not seem to help as the emails from jetpack are not being sent thru mandrill. Any help is greatly appreciated.
