    Hi,

I’m using WordPress SEO on my clients website. I was trying to add Facebook comments to his website. I tired two different plugins (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/facebook-comments-plugin and http://wordpress.org/plugins/seo-facebook-comments/), however when using either one, I received this messages on the Facebook Open Graph Meta Tags Debug search:

The parser's result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input properties that were not seen in the parsed result: 'article:section'

The reason why this is a problem is because all my clients post are send to his Facebook through Jetpack’s Publicize, however, with this error, nothing shows up on Facebook.

Can you help me solve this issue?

    Thanks a lot!
    Mika

  • Hi I’ll take a stab at this since no one has responded and I finally just fixed this issue with my own site.

What I did was look at the ‘article:section’ error and noticed that the entries related to more than one category I had my post assigned to.

I went into the post, unchecked all but one category and then saved, ran it back through debugger and it posted on FB with no problem, no error message and no issue with the debugger.

If you have your posts assigned to more than one category, this may be your solution as well.

    Hi @ec2337

Thanks a lot for your reply. I actually went that road at some point but since I had some plugins interfering with the Jetpack plugin, I didn’t figure that ALSO was an issue.

    Sincerely,
    Mika

yeah mine was not. I disabled all that might (Jetpack, Yoast, FB) and enabled them one by one and still couldn’t get an image to post on FB until I tried this.
