Jetpack 2.5 Upgrade Hangs

    Currently using Jetpack 2.4.2. Whenever I try upgrading to 2.5, the process just hangs, and my website is not available.

    Several minutes later, the website comes back and when I check the dashboard I see that I am still on Jetpack 2.4.2, but there is no error message why upgrade to 2.5 failed.

    I don’t know why Jetpack is hanging for you (I’m having similar issues on a couple of sites), but if the update is taking longer than a minute or so, then you can remove the “Update” message by FTPing into your site and removing a file called “.maintenance”
