    My site is getting an error when trying to post a comment.
    What is happening. My site is RobinBryce.com

    Jetpack comments won't allow my clients to comment. Possible commentors receive a message.

    I have similar problem. After 2.1.2 update the "post comment" button stopped working. It was possible to type a reply, but clicking "post comment" didn't do anything. I temporarily fixed the issue by unticking "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" and ticking "Comment author must have a previously approved comment". That's not the way I want the comment system on my site to work, thought.

    @robinlbryce It seems you posted twice. I replied here:

    @mikolajword
    Do you use any of the Anti-Spam / Captcha plugins mentioned here?
    http://jetpack.me/troubleshooting/known-issues/

    Could you also try to deactivate all plugins, one at a time, to check if one of them conflicts with Jetpack?

    No, I don't. I use Better WP security, though. I deactivated all plugins except for the Jetpack and the issue was still present. So then I deactivated jetpack itself and the issue was resolved. I activated all the plugins again, including jetpack and then, just after connecting jetpack to wordpress I got a chance to deactivate jetpack comments. This option was not present before. I used that to disable jetpack comments alone and now the issue is sort of resolved. I have comment policy that I want for my site, most of jetpack functions, but not jetpack comment system.
