Meteor Slides
JavaScript issue with Custom Contact Forms (3 posts)

I have discovered a conflict with the meteor slides plugin and the Custom Contact Forms plugin. When I deactivate this plugin, the meteor slider works. However, is there an easy way to get around this issue without having to either look for another slider (because this one does exactly as our client wishes) or without having to replace the contact form plugin?

You can see the plugin (although the slides are not showing, I can see the slider using firebug) here: http://avenuecdc.org/home-ownership/homes-for-sale/ at the end of the page.

Is there a way to solve this issue? I need a solution asap, or I may have to implement another contact form/slider

Hi, I do see some JavaScript errors coming from Custom Contact Forms as well. In the FAQ, it says that you can "include jQuery and CSS files only on pages that display a form", if you don't need a slideshow and form on the same page that might be a good option.

For my projects I use Contact Form 7 for basic contact forms and Gravity Forms for everything else, these have worked great for me and both compatible with Meteor Slides.
