   Hello,

   I read on http://codex.wordpress.org/Widgets_SubPanel that "Text 1 - used to enter HTML, Javascript, or just plain text."

   So I am trying to add a widget with javascript tags. But upon publishing (Save Changes), all the javascript tags are gone.

   Could someone kindly tell me how I can insert javascript in a sidebar widget?
