Java upload applet points to incorrect folder

Hi all,

I’m using the Java upload applet that comes standard with WP 2.0, which is working well apart from the fact that it doesn’t insert the correct URL into the link that it creates for an uploaded file.

My files upload successfully here:

/wp-content/uploads/year/month

But when I select the option ‘linked to file’ in the Java applet, the resulting link points to here:

/wp-admin

However, if I select ‘Linked to Page’, it then creates a link to a new page (as it should) with a correct URL in the link pointing to the document.

For various reasons, using ‘Linked to Page’ is not practical on my blog, so I can’t just use that option all of the time.

Also, images are uploading properly, even when I select ‘using thumbnail’ and ‘linked to file’.

Any suggestions greatfully appreciated.
