I’ve decided to go back to wp super cache.

Not sure why you keep putting up alerts about wp super cache being a bad plugin but yours IMO is proven to be worst then wp super cache, in fact it’s got to a point where your plugin cannot be disabled and all it says is that the wp super cache is a bad plugin but no explanation as to why… as you have NOT explained why this is, and as a user of the wp super cache plugin in multiple sites I still don’t know what the issue is either and why you making such childish accusations, so i have decided to remove you plugin from all my sites.

I suggest if next time you want to make accusations about another competitor plugin please back them up with a proper explanation and provide step by step on how to implement such changes so both plugins can co-exist (e.g. if wp super cache is disabled, yours should run without popping out error messages about another plugin that is fully de-activated).

    I’ll tell you why…
Lots of user (me too) cannot remove Super Cache easily. Super Cache cannot remove itself remnants. One day, I install wp on cpanel and super cache was installed automatically. I tried to uninstall but I couldn’t do it 🙂 I was so angry and I decided to add such warning.

it says is that the wp super cache is a bad plugin but no explanation as to why

It is not about its functionality. just about remnants.

    childish accusations

You are right. I need to change this warning message.

I have only tried to de-activate wp super cache and enable your plugin to see if it was better, but in one environment where i have a multi-site, i could only enable your plugin in one site but not the other, in the other i had to continue using wp super cache.

In the other sites, at first your plugin seem very good, but as time went on the sites were more and more unstable, enabling wp super cache with your plugin the sites seem to fly but there were a series of issues with things not refreshing, even plugins not updating because very everything is cached.

Another thing i must say, i’m using cloudflare in all my sites.

Right now i have decided to install JetPack in most of the heavy sites as JetPack comes with a free CDN service built-in called photon, and this together with WP super cache has finally stabilized my sites, additionally as i said i also use cloudflare even with JetPack.

IMO, your plugin may be ok for small projects, but for larger sites, it still lacks some performance tricks that wp super cache seems to have.

However I will continue to monitor the improvements and if it gets better then wp super cache then I will be happy to change.

IMO, one of the biggest issues with WordPress sites is performance related issues due to the amount of DB queries generated by plugins, there is quite a few old/outdated plugins out there that seem to help improve performance reducing the large amount of DB queries but using outdated plugins has dangers in itself. I also noticed when using these sometimes I cannot even update other plugins or analytics may not even work…

If you want to debug or examine which plugins are slowing down your site, just install another plugin called “query monitor”, and remember in the end of the day to increase performance the number of DB queries need to be reduced.

This outdated post does some interesting reading on the topic of DB queries: https://yoast.com/wordpress-performance-optimization/

Emre, if your beef with WPSC is because a preinstalled copy could not be removed, that is the fault of the host and not the plugin itself. I uninstalled WPSC on my site in favor of WPFC and didn’t have any problems. Before you cast aspersions toward others, your plugin must be completely flawless (it’s not—I’m about to submit a real bug I found).

but in one environment where i have a multi-site,

Yes, my plugin does not support it.

not refreshing, even plugins not updating because very everything is cached.

very strange. first time I have heart it.

My plugin does not connect to mysql. Just it needs getting “options” and there is no need to do extra query because site options’ is getting when site is open.

Anyway, thank you so much for detailed explanation. I improve myself and my plugin day by day. I hope that one day you start to use my plugin again. thank you so much…
