Okay. I have finally managed to copy and paste the Adsense script into my WordPress sidebar.php file (I done this by going to wp-admin and then going to sidebar.php which is where I copied and pasted the Adsense script. If this is not the right place please let me know). I saved the changes to the script in sidebar.php, what now? How long will it take before I start seeing ads, or did is there something else I need to do? If you have time you can call me at 512 696 5893. I follow oral instructions better that written ones when I am dealing with an area I am completely ignorant to.

How about "watching it done"? See Google's "Ad Code Demo" http://services.google.com/adsense/breeze/troubleshooting/2059761/ .

    myeaamelia,

I don't think you really can. If you want to add AdSense to your page, you will probably need to pay to have it hosted somewhere.

If your theme uses widgets, you can just copy the Adsense code into a text widget. Be sure your sidebar is wide enough to accept the ad size that you picked.
