hey guys, hope u all doing fine n enjoying ur wordpress software
i've got an weird situation with my wordpress since i updated it 2.8 from 2.7
when i try to open Add New post it adds alot of custom field it self
plz have a look at screen shot:

onmore thing i've tried i thought may be podpress is not supported with WP 2.8 so i deactivated it but deactivition of podpress didnt work and still facing the same problem
They are podpress custom fields, so podpress is the one causing it. Completely uninstall it, not just deactivate it, and make sure that all code and custom files for it are removed.
podPress: Compatible up to: 2.3
This plugin is really out of date, so who knows what all it did.

i deactivated and even deleted all podpress folder from plugins but still facng the same problem
any suggestions please..... its kind weird now :D
iridiax advised you to "uninstall" it. Have you done it?
The important thing to know is various plugins create and populate several tables in the database. Ubless you "uninstall" the plugin, the data scattered by it remain and continue to bother you.

unintsall doesnt mean .. first u activate it and then delete the plugin directory and all files under it? :O
if not then whats the actual method to uninstall it?
Look for "uninstall" option in the admin part of the plugin, after activating it.
If not, you may get some info from this link:

I don't know if any plugins are available for this.
Otherwise you'll have to manually drop the tables created by podpress from the database, after creating a backup.

ok now i've just dropped the following tables wp_podpress_statcounts and wp_podpress_stats but still have the samme problem
:( now its really bad .... arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
