   I've installed WordPress, can access the Dashboard but when I click on 'view site' there's nothing there. I've been through all the help pages, twiddled a bit, but no luck.

   I'm a newbie with self-esteem plumeting.

   I don't have a .htaccess folder, but a public_html one. Is that the problem do you think?

   Please help

   Just incase someone else gets this same problem I got some hep from Mr Nice Guy on another forum.

   It was due to the permissions being wrongly set in the themes directory, once reset everything is fine.

   If I can ask, what were the permissions, for which files?

   It was for the themes folder in the wp-content directory. The permissions are set to 777 and all is well at the moment.
