    Hi

I think it’s really sad when someone works hard and creates a fantastic plugin and then comes out with updates that not only break badly but the ‘fixes’ require an in depth knowledge of programming.

Most people do not have that knowledge and require their ‘developers’ to do these things. When these things break, you force people to have to run off to pay someone to fix what wasn’t broken – OR – in the case of site owners that DO program, we have to stop what we’re doing to go trouble shoot a problem that we didn’t have.

Why change what wasn’t broken? If it didn’t have some sort of security breach, what is the point of changing the plugin to do something else and then it breaks? Or more over, why put it out as an update when it isn’t an upgrade – it’s a down grade since it doesn’t work.

The plugin is great (previous version) without issues and it’s been downloaded tons – but it doesn’t have good support – 40 something out of hundreds isn’t good support – and the update has MAJOR issues. Those issues should be tested prior to sending out the new version as an update that causes so much grief.

    🙁
