Italics Demon: text in Admin and Posts is italicized

    I have a new WP install on my local and on a server, and both display text in italics (install on server was done by web host). Any text typed or pasted into the Admin panels will appear in bold italics. I haven’t had a chance to create any pages yet so it’s difficult to figure out why this setting is in place to begin with, and I can find no issue with style.css in the 2011 Theme. How do I go about trouble-shooting this mess?
