I have a very simple blog with 2 categories which I use for 2 languages. The blog content is only visible to registered users (subscriber level), mainly less digitally adapt people. I want to spare them having to find the category selection menu to filter on their language, so I thought Restricted Categories would do the trick.

I am testing this with two users, one has the 'English' category box ticked (in Restricted Categories settings), the other 'Nederlands'.

However when either is logged in the blog shows both categories, so nothing has changed. Moreover, the user can still select the category he was not supposed to access. So what is happening here? Or am I misunderstanding the use of this plug-in?
