After making some changes, I lost access to both the blog and the blog Admin page. With some help for the web, I got the blog back up and access to the Admin log on page. The log on page wouldn't take my password. I have gone through everything I can find on the web and still can't get my password to reset. I have used my PHPAdmin to try and change the password with no result. I have used the emergency.php wich worked great and let me set a new password but when I use the password on the log on page it will not work. I have tried letting the PHPAdmin generate MD5 code, and I have used a stand alone MD5 generator. I have even used SQL script to reset the password. Nothing seems to work. Does anybody have a suggestion?

Posted 2 years ago #I resolved this issue on my own through help from the internet. I had to change my e-mail to my primary address using PHPAdmin. I had been using the e-mail listed on my business web site. This allowed me to use password recovery through word press. Furthermore, I had to use the link provided by word press to the log on page to use the new password. If I tried to use the link I have saved in my web browser to access the log on page for my admin page it wouldn't allow me to use the new password. So I had to delete that link and replace it with the on provided by word press.
