Hi @dragaholic,
Unfortunately, it’s a problem with your Cron and your Host. We recommend you talk to your host. Here you find more details about the Cron. http://wordpress.org/plugins/tweet-old-post/faq/
Best regards.
Personally, I think it is a little lazy to just chalk it up to a “problem with your hosting”. Many people are having this issue and if the old version worked just fine and the new version does not, that indicates there is a bigger issue that has nothing to do with peoples’ sites. I get 3 million visitors a month, so I think I am getting enough people to trigger my cron every 3 hours. And other functions that go through the cron are working fine.
There is something wrong with the plugin. Please fix it.
I’m sorry that you feel this way but this isn’t your topic. If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic instead of tagging onto someone else’s topic.
Hi Hannamyluv,
The issue is not the cron is not triggered, it might be disabled by your host. The previous version had his own cron which doesn’t make sense at all, that’s why probably worked.
We are not trying to just pass the problem and yes there are people in the same situation, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do, while keeping the plugin along with the wordpress recommendations.
Regarding the solution, the only thing that I have in mind without investigation the enviroment would be to try to reset the settings..
