   I have just upgraded to the latest version of WP after getting my own site hosted and I'm trying to import my existing wordpress.com blog to my new site but I get the following message after the import appears to be uploading the export file:

   Unable to create directory /home/staticth/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

   Should I create the directory myself in my vDeck panel?

   Nevermind, I tried changing all directory files to 755 and it's working just fine. My problem before was that I just changed the immediate directory. But after changing all of them, I am good to go.
