    Ok i just love how they put the image up load on the same page as the post write, but im having an issue with it. If i just put a picture in it w/o it being linked to it all is well but when i do the use thumbnail and i want to link to the image like this

    <a class="imagelink" title=hippo.jpg href="http://www.heathersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/01/hippo.jpg"><img id="image21" height=96 alt=hippo.jpg src="http://www.heathersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/01/hippo.thumbnail.jpg" width="92/></a>

    it's like its missing a tag because the link carry's on beyond into the text after (if that makes since)

    What's with this though to? => class="imagelink"
    shouldn't you have the href right after the < a and then that extra stuff inside after the .gif" "extra" "stuff" > ? Just was curious..I dunno, maybe I need beer or something lol!

    I hope this is right, but just viewing that, it appears that this:

    title=hippo.jpg should be title="hippo.jpg"

    and this: height=96 alt=hippo.jpg should be:
    height="96" alt="hippo.jpg"

    I'm not sure though, but maybe someone else can help ya better. =)

    P.S. I think there is another way to show the alt for the imagery, but I can't think of it now... =(

    well i did it by hand this time on my blog but normally if i let the program do it, it messes it up and outputs what i posted previously

    Try this once:

    <a href="http://www.heathersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/01/hippo.jpg"><img src="http://www.heathersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/01/hippo.thumbnail.jpg" height="96" width="92" alt="hippo.jpg"/></a>

    I dunno what all this is:
    class="imagelink"
    id="image21"

    If you need that, then just add it right after here:
    .jpg"

    Hope this helps maybe.

    So you want it so it's a small image, to open up to the bigger image inside the post or outside the post? Cause if the bigger one is bigger then your theme, it will mess it up.

    Kind of like I did here:
    http://www.vindictivebastard.net/css-is-great.htm

    Here is my code for that:

    <a target="_blank" href="http://www.twisted-society.com/images2/cssisgreat.gif"><img align="middle" src="http://www.twisted-society.com/images2/cssisgreatsmall.gif" /></a>

    But if you want it to stay within the post when clicking on the small one, remove the "target_blank" once...and see. =) I dunno, maybe I'm still not understanding you correctly..and a moderator or someone ALOT smarter then me, with this stuff can help ya better. =)

    I'm not really sure, some how the post title for this:
    http://www.heathersblog.com/2005/so-what-happens-when-im-a-dork/

    "so-what-happens-when-im" Is being brought into that post of the hippo or something.. mmmm. Maybe check the php files for the comments.php, single.php or one of them files you have that relates to the comment's or something maybe. And then that post title is some how oddly being used to direct to the hippo image.

    I'm not really sure about that...that's odd. Maybe Moshu or a moderator can help you with it better...or even the person that made your theme for you. Perhaps contact him once....see what he thinks. =)

    P.S. Scratch looking at your files, just get intouch with the person that made your theme. (Just incase it's something simple and you don't wanna mess it up even more.)

    But, for some reason, it's doing it to you while being logged in. And we the visitors are not seeing it. So I dunno...never had that happen to me before. =(

    lol im not talking about that either lol
    that "so-what-happens-when-im is" something totally unrelated

    nevermind im just going to give up on it, its not that hard for me to type in the code for the images and links by hand

  14. hbalagh

    its not the theme either cause the default theme does it too

    Hahaha..if you're referring to the "This entry was posted on whatever...." That's "maybe" or "should be maybe" the edit link for the post, and that's screwy... I dunno lmao!

    Hahaha...this is too much for one night, I think I'll be drinking the rest of my beer tomorrow night... LOL! =) With a splash of.. a "gallon" of vodka! =)

    yes that is what im referring too, you can send me a beer if you like :)

    Ok, I think I will..lol! =) I usually use that as my form of a "therapist", so it'd be like me sending you to him for therapy session lmaO! After all, we'll be needing it after all this hahaha..

    Anyways..on with the issue at hand. =) Now, when you click on that link, it takes you to the image itself or something? Because if I'm right, that's the "edit" link for that "post" or whatever you'd call it. Which should take you into the control panel, for you to edit "it", "it" being that "post".

    But also remember, you don't have any text within that post either, except from what I see: hippo.jpg, so maybe the padding isn't right or something and it's doing something that way.

    Mmmm..maybe edit that post once and add < / br > a few of them below the image itself once... I dunno. [wishes I had my beer here though lol.]

    spencerp

    <thinks> Moshu and everyone else about now, prolly thinks I'm being a dumbass... </thinks> Hahaha..screw it..I am drinking tomorrow night lol!

    Mmm, I'm not sure then, my thinking powers aren't working great at this time. =( Maybe hit me up on MSN or Yahoo once, see if we can "try" and resolve this quicker.
