Issue after activating WordPress Notification Bar

    After activating the wordpress Notification Bar I got this message at the top of the screen:

    Warning: is_readable() [function.is-readable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(E:\Inetpub\vhosts\mysite.com\httpdocs/E:\Inetpub\vhosts\mysite.com\httpdocs\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-notification-bar//languages/seed_wnb-en_US.mo) is not within the allowed path(s): (E:\Inetpub\vhosts\mysite.com\httpdocs\) in E:\Inetpub\vhosts\mysite.com\httpdocs\wp-includes\l10n.php on line 339

    Any help 🙂 ?

    Looks like it’s having an issue with a path. I’ll release an update in a few minute. I think this will fix it. Let me know if now.

    Hi John thank you for the immediate response.

    I installed the updated version but still the same issue:

    Maybe it is something wrong with my server?

    Ok, after Google a bit more it does appear to be a server setting. It’s called open_basedir restriction. http://www.php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.open-basedir

    Are you running your own server?

    No there is a hosting service on windows server (plesk panel). Can I do something?

    hum, nothing I know of. I’m not familiar with running php on Windows. You might contact your host and see if there is something that can be done.

    Send them the error message and see if there is something done in the configuration to relax this restriction.
